Synopsis:
Through the Cracks it's an 18-minute experimental documentary short film, released posthumously in 2015. Created under the stage lights, director Luini Nerva moves the camera as if dancing—with delicacy—crafting a narrative that observes through silences, breaths, and sighs. The film contemplates the world of stage performance in a unique way, like a gaze that lingers on minute gestures and the power of the moment.
More information:
Luini was a cultural activist who dedicated her life to the audiovisual arts. She passed away before seeing the finished film, which was screened in her honor that same year during a special session at the Gramado Film Festival.
The work is a production by Atama Filmes, co-produced with Bactéria Filmes, with the support of KF Studios, SIAVRS/RS, APTC-RS, IECINE, Cinemateca Paulo Amorim, the Porto Alegre Film Commission, and Cinemateca Capitólio.
In 2020, it received an accessible version, produced by Onvi Acessibilidade Universal.
