Synopsis:
In traffic dominated by men, cars and buses, it becomes a challenge to be a woman and use an alternative means of transport such as bicycles in the city of Porto Alegre. Thinking about these challenges,Bike Like a Girl gives a voice to women cyclists who, together, find a safe space to express their resistance. After all, what does cycling like a girl involve?

The documentary Bike Like a Girl, by director Thaís Brito, is a project created, directed, produced and designed for women. It portrays the routine and challenges of female cyclists, residents of Porto Alegre, amid chaotic traffic, predominantly dominated by men.

The project was produced by Bactéria Filmes and Forno FX and was supported by Germina, Buena Onda, Josephynas and Quintal Cultural.
